Jens Hørup is the CEO of Amplex, key partner in the Aarhus Cluster. He has launched the Smart Utilities working group under the Smart Aarhus umbrella jointly with Aarhus Vand and the Alexandra Institute (all partners in OUTSMART).

Several other organisations have joined the effort, including AffaldVarme Aarhus (waste and heat utility), Kamstrup (smart meter provider), Region Midt and Skive Kommune as well as several other technology providers and local utilities.
